Zek, began his insurance career in 1996 at General Directorate of Insurance at Turkish Treasury (Turkish Insurance Authority). During working at Turkish Insurance Authority, contributed to writing A Draft Act of Complimentary Health Insurance for Turkish Insurance Industry and Act of Private Pension System. He also wrote a first Draft Act of Health Insurance Information Center (SAGMER) and wrote General Conditions of Travel Health Insurance for Turkish Insurance Industry.
He studied insurance at the Chartered Insurance Institute in London. He completed his master degree in policy economics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the USA.
Having worked at Agencies, Brokers and Loss Adjusters Department, Private Pension Department for another several years, he started working at Turkish Airlines as Insurance Manager in August 2010.
After successful and productive years at Turkish Airlines Inc. joined Aksigorta AŞ as Business Development Manager in Aviation. He managed aviation portfolios of Aviabel and Aksigorta For 3 years
